Growing in the Kingdom
What is the Kingdom of God?

Day 1

Picture
In Matthew, Jesus tells us what our priorities should be. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33 In our daily life we often worry about tomorrow and all the troubles that may come. We focus on our food, shelter, health, relationships, and finances. These are distractions, meant to keep us from our relationship with the Father. If we become distracted and filled with anxiety and fear, we fail to focus on the things of God.

Jesus simplified it down to two simple commands: 1. Seek the Kingdom of God and 2. Live righteously! How do we seek the Kingdom of God? We study and meditate on it. That is what we will consistently endeavor to do here for the next 183 days—six months. The more you understand the Kingdom of God, the easier it is to live righteously.
