I believe the Bible is the Holy Spirit inspired, inerrant Word of God.
I believe in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son who is Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 2 Corinthians 13:14
We are to approach the Kingdom of God with childlike faith. Jesus made it so simple, religion has complicated it. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Mark 10:15
Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is the door to the Kingdom. He died for our sins and to give us access to all God has for us in His Kingdom. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 Revelation 3:20-22 John 10:7-18
As a blood-bought believer in Jesus Christ, through His gift of salvation, we are citizens of the Kingdom of God.
When we interact with others, we represent King Jesus, as ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven. We are to be walking, talking examples of Kingdom living.
The Bible is God’s Constitution; His testaments (both Old and New) of how we are to live and all the blessings and responsibilities in the Kingdom. The Old Testament shows us God's character.
When the Lord Jesus left this earth, He gave us the Holy Spirit to be a Helper in our life. “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you." John 14:15-17
This is all you really need: God’s Word, the Holy Spirit and a fervent desire to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Begin with the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Start Here
Keep it real, and real simple, as Jesus did.
But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33
Yes, seeking the Kingdom is that simple. It’s all about getting your priorities straight in your mind, will and emotions. Your first priority is the Kingdom of God, learning and obeying His Word. What will be added? ALL your needs will be met, so don’t worry about them:
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31-32
I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their importance in the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
I believe in the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit and the importance that they be cultivated and operating in Believers.
Galatians 5:22-23
I believe in all the miracles Jesus performed while here on earth. I believe we can do all these things and even greater because He sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf. “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in My name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! John 14:12-14
